Winter Wellness Tip from Restorative Health

Therapist Brandy Gebo, LCSW. Brandy is currently accepting new clients -- With days becoming shorter and colder it might be tempting to hibernate indoors. However, unless you're a bear, isolation and inactivity are not your friends. To support good mental health during the snow-globe months it is important to remain active. Get outside, move around, and enjoy as much daylight as you can. Consider making plans with a friend, take a walk, enjoy winter activities, or get to the gym. Making plans with others will provide commitment and accountability to support your routine while the social interaction will be a fun addition to further support good health.
